| I am on the introduciton part of the diet and have found it hard to complete properly as I get very bad leg cramps from doing the intro. Has anyone had this problem and how did they get around it? | |

| Hi, "Introductions" is more for introducing yourself, but now that you bring it up, there should be a section just for intro, shouldn't there? I've moved your topic to Support for now, but I'll see about making an Intro forum in the morning. I haven't tried intro yet, so I couldn't be of much help, but maybe if you talk a little bit about how you're approaching intro, we could all look for solutions?
Some things I've read in other places are that too many probiotics too early will cause die-off symptoms, which a lot of times are just an aggravation of what you already have. To get relief from die-off, try taking a relief bath every day with Epsom salts or other detoxing things? I'll try to find the blog post I read about that on gapsguide.com . Also, try to make sure you have a bowel movement every 24 hours. Apparently that is important.
Edit As I started making the Intro forum, I decided against it for now. We have a small community here right now, and the forums are still relatively empty. I'll save making an intro forum until there are enough people here doing it that the forum is truly useful. If you think I should go ahead and add an intro forum from now, though, I'm going to set up a poll in suggestions.

| Hi. On my second and especially my third day of doing intro I had crampy, tingly aches in my legs definately mostly during the night but I could still notice it during the day as well to a lesser degree. An epsom salt bath really helped me and I felt like I had to keep moving and stretching to relief the aches. Along with other symptoms of die off I was having, it eased on it's own quite quickly and the 4 th day already I started to not notice it as much. Deb | |
